Law 21.067, which creates the Office of the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights, was published in January 2018 with the aim of disseminating, promoting, and protecting the rights of children and adolescents, in accordance with the Political Constitution of the Republic, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and other international treaties ratified by Chile that are in force, as well as national legislation.
